Hi, I’m Laicie — and that laugh sounds just as crazy as it looks.

I’m a researcher, writer, dreamer, runner, and soon-to-be wife to the man of my dreams, stepmom to the coolest little dude there is, and mom to this little guy here.

I’ll always be an Oregonian at heart, but I’m learning to love Old Bay, natty boh, and at least one or two of the changing seasons.

I love fashion, food, weddings, photography, design… pretty much all shiny objects.  A Thousand Threads is my place to share the things I love, along with my adventures and occasional ramblings.

Someday I dream of writing a book, opening a bakery, and exploring the mountains of Bhutan.  I don’t believe in letting life happen, so I’m taking it by the horns (and all of those other clichés too).
